Ratcliffe Tutoring LLC

Ratcliffe Tutoring offers one-on-one tutoring for middle school and high school students in preparation of high school and college admissions exams as well as general math tutoring for courses ranging from Pre-Algebra through AB Calculus.

For SAT/ACT & ISEE/HSPT/SSAT programs, I use a combination of one-on-one sessions, homework assignments, and full practice tests to help students tackle the tests from multiple angles. I focus on a full review of the content of each test in addition to teaching strategies to help students understand how to efficiently and effectively move through questions to maximize their scores. Test prep programs utilize an online platform that offers subject-specific practice problems as well as full test sections. I use all of this to personalize sessions to fit each student taking into account learning style, knowledge base, and practice needs.

For math tutoring, I follow along with the student’s school curriculum with guidance through homework assignments and additional practice problems in areas needing more support.

Unsure of whether to take the SAT or the ACT? No problem! We can talk through the specifics of each test to decide which one will best highlight the strengths of each individual student.

I am located in Chicago and offer in-home services for the greater Chicagoland area.
